Today is the 10,000th day I have been alive.

As a fan of big round numbers, I find this is very cool. I’m sure for most people this day comes and goes without notice, just another day in their 27th year of existence, and had it not been for a boring train ride to a Giants game a few months ago, it would have passed me by as well. While app-browsing on my droid, I found a date calculator app and put my birthday into it and found that I was under a hundred days from turning the big 1-0-0-0-0, so I put the big day on my calendar.

My next big rollover? I will be 1 billion seconds old sometime during January 13th, 2015.
